18 Variations on Paganini's Caprice #24

For  Solo Flute / Piano

(Flute & Piano)

ABOUT

Paganini’s famous Caprice #24 variations for violin have been adapted for many other instruments, and have also inspired masterworks by such greats as Brahms and Rachmaninoff. It’s time that flutists had their own special version, so here are 18 dynamic and ingenious original variations of Paganini’s classic, like you’ve never heard it before, in a dazzling virtuous feature. (Note that there are also versions for octet and also for woodwind quintet. Each version shares most of the variations, but not all; each features its own special adaptions.)
